Has anyone done this?

We went to a Retrovaille CORE meeting over the weekend and the coordinators suggested that we do this. Apparently it provides even deeper marriage work and is the first step towards becoming a presenter.

We have already decided to do this, but I would love to hear experiences from anyone who has.

Thanks

We've been asked to attend too, but we can't make it.

Let us know how it goes.

We heard about it at CORE this weekend too. It is too short of notice for us to budget and find babysitters for it, but we want to go to the one they have in November.

If you go, please let us all know how it went.

WH and I went to a formation weekend about a year ago. It basically was a writing exercise (we worked on our personal introductions) and then we would break into small groups and there would be sharing. It was extremely beneficial for WH and he felt as if a weight was lifted from his shoulders at the end of the weekend. I was grateful that he felt that way and was glad of the opportunity to work on our marriage with other people who also care about marriage. We went with other couples from our CORE group and all of them thought it was a very good weekend and helped them.

A few of the people from my retrouvaille weekend attended (we could not, previous engagement) and each and every one of them said that it was like taking the program to a higher level. As soon as they schedule it this year in our area, we are signing up. Do it!

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
