I'm so very sick of it. Outside Chicago I just got another 8-10 dumped on me last night.

NWPA and we got another 6 inches here. And it's still snowing outside.

I am over winter, also. I'll hold the greasy bitch down and you can face punch all you want, ok?

I'll hold winter down so you can punch him. Got about 6 inches of snow yesterday, and I'm stuck in my house because the landlord hasn't plowed the driveway yet (it's several hundred feet long and gravel).

FacePunched wants to punch winter in the face. It takes so little to amuse me.

I'd pay to watch it though. It needs to get punched in the face and kicked in the ass at this point.

Was in Chicago in the winter once. I swear it was the coldest place on earth.

Growing forward

I agree. One christmas up there and we had to park the car outside at my Aunt's house. The windchill was about -50. Our car was so cold it would not start. We had to have a friend push it up into the garage and we put 2 heating blankets on the engine so that it would warm up enough to start.

To say it fucking sucked would be an understatement.

I am sick of it too. But I am seeing some hope. My horses are starting to shed their winter coat. They are rubbing against everything and leaving their hair behind. This has always been my "spring is right around the corner" guage.

I'm sitting on the only piece of furniture in my house that is not piled high with stuff, watching plumbers fix my frozen pipes, and carpenters tearing out my water-soaked walls.

I'll hold Winter's arms back for you.

Take care of yourself. There's a great future out there. It won't come to you; you have to go to it.

I'm so very done with winter, I never liked winter to start with but this year it's just been nasty.

I originally joined SI as a way to help my best friends find ways of coping with infidelity, but now infidelity has touched my family much closer to home.

I want to punch winter in the throat, it hurts more!

We are getting 6-8 inches today. We have had 30+ inches in the last two weeks. I just had to take he dog to the vet for his shots and the driving was horrible. So done with this!

It's supposed to get into the 40's this week with some rain. I can't wait to watch it all melt. I like going sledding with the kids, but I've had enough already.
