I have to tell y'all that the wedding turned out really sweet. The bride was tastefully dressed (although I had never noticed the tattoo on her shoulders bearing a previous boyfriend's name. )
The grandparents and parents ended up walking in to "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" by Poison. Which may mark the first time a Poison song has ever been played in a Southern Baptist church. Definitely was a first for ours.
The bride walked down the aisle to "God Gave me You". And they walked out to "She's My Kind of Crazy."
Just typical Flake family stuff. (Yep, that's really my maiden name.)

It's fun to use something different, but Poison is quite different!
especially in church, like you said.

The funniest part was that it was the grandparents walking in to that. My mom is just freaking nuts anyway, so it was fairly appropriate for her. But my SIL's parents were missionaries and her mom is quite proper.
The whole thing was such a FOO-festival of craziness.
