WS Nightmares?

Has anyone else experienced this?

My WH has been having nightmares that the AP comes into our home, or harms one of the family in the street, the park, etc.

Last night was a particularly bad one; he dreamt that we were cooking dinner, and AP stormed into our home and into our daughter's bedroom. I was woken by him yelling "Get out!" and "Don't touch her!". I'm glad I woke up, because there was a fist heading right for me. I've never moved so fast in my life!

I woke him up, and he told me about the nightmare, but was extremely upset that he could have hurt me. He has never been a violent person, so this really worries him.

His AP is the obsessive, abusive, victim type, and has caused quite a bit of trouble for us, so his worry about her is real.

I've heard of BS's having nightmares, but have not been able to see anything about WS nightmares, and how he can help himself to stop these nightmares.

Any help here would be appreciated.
