I was reading an article about, among other things, how big Tobacco worked to plant doubt into people's minds over research ion the health risks of smoking.

This was the closing sentence:

"You really need to be teaching third-, fourth-, fifth-, sixth-graders that some people lie. And why do they lie? Because some people are greedy."

It resonated with me for obvious reasons! I think that simple summary really explains the behavior of many waywards. But I for one was never taught that this was part of life, so the idea of teaching this to kids also resonated!

Sit. Feast on your life.

So simple and yet life altering.

I am so disappointed when a liar's pants don't actually start on fire.

Hard to teach my children that their father is a liar! I know that quote is truth but I feel like a mean person when I speak ill of my WH. My children are aware of this infidelity and know he told all us many lies. I just don't know how to talk to them about all of this!
