A coworker I have known for over 16 years JFO her boyfriend of 10 years - also a coworker and a director used our place of work to hook up with women. Most worked under him. One decided to file sexual harassment charges and knew the list of other women. The POS was fired, but of course his girlfriend is distraught.

I thought about just telling her how sorry I was for what she was going through and was going to mention the great support groups out there and how our insurance is really great for IC. Walking back from lunch I happened to cross paths with her and did not say anything:( I work at a huge company and those occurrences rarely happen. I feel terrible that I did not step outside of my comfort zone and say something. I am making strides in my own personal growth but still have some work to do.

Hopefully you'll see her again soon and can give her a hug. It took me awhile to talk to coworkers when they were in similar straits. I AM not the type who wants to discuss personal life stuff in depth so that was a real stretch for me also.
