That was the message in my fortune cookie. I posted in General about a new job. I got an offer letter that I accepted recently. More money than I made before (ever before to be precise) and my duties are elevated and more interesting to me than what I'm doing now.

Don't you love it when a 'fortune' cookie has an actual fortune? Especially a good one that comes true! Congrats Brandon!

Thanks thebighurt. Yeah, my first thought was "Wow, has there ever been a fortune in a fortune cookie that was so spot on?"

Thanks gahurts.

I definitely learned that I am introverted people-person. So 100% working from home is not me. This new job changes that.

Thanks Williesmom

Yeah, it's been a learning experience. My IC reminded me about "still waters running deep" because even though I'm quiet by nature and even I am not very demonstrative of my feelings for others I do care deeply. I'm learning to find ways to express that.

There are a lot of caring people here on SI and I appreciate SI and all of the support I've received.
