Just finished it!

Wow. Great read! Parts of her story mirror my life (well, except being married to a hero. )

Oh, annb, I didn't like it at all. I have done a little research on the Lindbergh's and have found that Charles was worse than the character in the book and Anne better! I disliked them both and was getting annoyed at the author's portrayl of them. So I decided to read it totally as fiction, rather than historical fiction, and pretended they were made up characters. And I still disliked them.

While I "got" that the times were different than today, I felt Anne was such a wuss. How could a woman put up with that--not the philandering, but the control. And again, I realize that was more common in those days, but decided I don't like reading about it.

And I don't want to put in any spoilers, but did appreciate the end of the book!

annb, what did you like about the book?
