ya know, the belly all women seem to have at a certain age?

is there any way to avoid it? Everyone here probably knows how much I exercise and eat right. Would cutting out all alcohol work? Eat more of a certain kind of food? A different kind of exercise? I currently swim, crossfit training, run, hot yoga, etc...

I just saw a pic of you on the pic thread. There is no *menopot* on you!

Love isn't what you say, it's what you do.

Sorry to t/j, but I just checked out that thread and a.) you are beautiful, b.) you look nothing like I pictured you! and c.) holy crap, you had twins?!?!?! And then two more??? (Or maybe I got the order wrong. But still!)

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, but just wanted to comment on those things above.

Um Yah Rach if you have a pooch, well it must be tiny.

Yes we all reach an age when the hormones stop, and our waist line tends to go away, and we get a bit thicker. The only way to get totally rid of it permanently is a tummy tuck, and then never gaining another ounce of weight.

I think you are actually a bit too thin, based on the pic you posted, and should not worry. After all that little pooch if proof that you made wonderful, beautiful, people. You should be proud of it.

thanks you guys!!! I had all kids young so that helped..

I think it is inevitable too. So apparently, is peeing when you do jumping jacks when you're 47. And having your period every two weeks.

oh well...

I was told by a very fit woman that any time of muscle confusion type workout (IE P90X and Cross Fit) will start to burn the fat around that area, and tone the muscle underneath. That unfortunetly just sit ups and core training will not get the whole package desired effect.

She is also 47 and has a 6 pack to die for. She eats 'clean' and works out every morning...so, yeah, i hate her LOL
