This is a very practical question!

hi. just wondering if anyone had to leave their home and stay temporarily in a hotel WITH PETS and if they had any recommendations or thoughts about that. I have 2 dogs/2 cats and I'm looking around but most hotels only take TWO; i have four. thanks for anything if you have had experience of knowledge!
cheers

If you were in Houston, I'd be happy to help with the dogs. I dogsit for my friends all of the time. :)

If not, you might want to check local animal rescue groups. Some offer temporary foster care for pets for people in problem situations.

I will say that Motel 6 allows pets of all sizes and no surcharge!

It's not five star, but it's clean and has a roof.

I've heard Days Inn takes pets, again, it is a roof, and I'm not sure of their limits.

thanks all. pet sitter is also a great idea! I need a suite, with a door so I can separate dogs and cats when i'm not there too. ugh. i wish i could rent a small house; worried dogs will bark at all unfamiliar noises! thanks again!
