DD15 and I hit the road on Thursday morning and headed for NorCal. We had the most fantastic day in San Francisco on Friday. The highlight of the trip for my daughter was a completely random, serendipitous thing where we stumbled off a streetcar at Pier 39 and into a street concert where "Passenger" - one of her current fangirl crushes - was just beginning to play. Needless to say, our plan to get to the Golden Gate Bridge was postponed as she swooned and squealed. Passenger put on a great show, and then obliged all of us with photos, hugs and autographs.

We did make it to the Golden Gate Bridge finally. It rained. But once it cleared up. ZOMG! So beautiful...

On Saturday morning, we met up with these familiar SIers for breakfast. Click4it, Moo, and me (note Moo and I in UK colors):
That night a group gathered a couple hours south of SF at the home of Wildbananas and her crazy bunch. We had a wonderful time. Some of us even watched the UK/Wisconsin game. There was no shortage of antics or the infamous Crack.

Along the back is one of the bananas, then Wildbananas, Moo, and Jpapa looking at the UK game. Next row is another banana, Jrazz, a banana, my DD, and me. The short stuff in the front is Vrazz (so stinkin' cute).
It was fantastic to spend time with these SI friends again.

Left to right, top to bottom:
BBQ chicken and pork ribs, Beef ribs.
Tri-tip, scratch made cornbread, Real Cali bread.
House made hot links, empty plates.
House made coleslaw, house made potatoe salad, spicy house made BBQ sauce, mild house made BBQ sauce.
House made mac and cheese, house made BBQ baked beans. (House made greens- off screen)
Not pictured: Some doggone fine looking and awesome tasting cake-pops made by the youngest of the Bananabunch and some majorly tasty artichoke heart-spinach baked spread and toffe bar dipping sauce with apples and California strawberries made by WB herself.
The group shot was taken when there were 30 seconds left in the UK-Wisconsin game and I am the ONLY person who cared enough to keep four eyes on the TV.
