I'm eating enough black and white cookies to make up for not having Easter candy in the house.

I knew you were all worried I wasn't going to eat my share .

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

We celebrate it, but haven't been to church in a while. Still, ham and scalloped potatoes are on the menu for tomorrow night. And our teenagers still expect candy in a basket.

Well, you can still celebrate "Deeply Discounted Bunny and Egg-shaped Chocolate Day" on Monday!

We're going over to my folks' tomorrow. Thing is, we like the leftover ham, so we bought an extra, so we could have the leftovers. Just got done carving it up, and man is it good! I'm having Easter leftovers the day before Easter!

The Easter Bunny will still be paying a visit for my 10 year old son tomorrow. Good times.

We had a major crisis at our house when we discovered the local supermarket had NO Brussels sprouts!!!! Horrors! So we subbed sugar snap peas. My chef son used passion fruit juice in the sauce for the ham (OMG, the BEST sauce ever) and he used blue cheese with the scalloped potatoes. I made a chocolate mousse cake for dessert. That was probably the best Easter dinner ever. I seriously suspect I gained 5 pounds. I'm afraid to step on the scales.

My Easter consisted of a hike in the mountains and burgers cooked on the grill with salsa, potato salad, cole slaw and ice cream cakeall shared with great friends.
