I'm not officially finished with the Divorce/Separation forum, but I'm not going to let that stop me from forging ahead with a New Beginning.
Today, I planted peas in my garden and the construction started on the addition to my parents' house. This addition will allow them to 'age in place' with my kids and I living with them.
This week, my DD17 told me she's questioning her gender identity and sexuality. I told her it didn't matter to me, as long as she behaves with integrity towards whomever she loves. She also totally ROCKED her ACT score. (33 composite)
This month, I'm starting my Master's in Accounting. The first step towards a new career and financial independence. STBXH is no longer the biggest concern in my life. I have better and bigger fish to fry.

Bigger fish, indeed. Congrats to your DD17 on rocking her ACT! And well done, Mom. You've obviously nurtured an open and trusting relationship with your DD if she is sharing such deeply personal questions so honestly with you.

Good for you Gemini71 and welcome to New Beginnings. And thank you for saying you planted peas. I live in Illinois too and I was wondering if it was too early to plant mine. I'm still in shell shock from this winter.
Congrats on your daughter's successes as well.
