What do you mean? I just opened up IE and it looks fine to me.

They've discovered a major security bug in all versions of IE. Microsoft is working on a patch but it will only be available to users running an operating system that came after XP. (Vista, Win7, Win8). If you're still running XP, there won't be a bug fix.

So, basically, stop using IE no matter which operating system you're using. Use Firefox or Google Chrome which are both free. I prefer Firefox for the sites I access (Facebook) but Chrome works just as good. I just prefer the feel of Firefox.

eta: link with more info and for realizing that I was posting this from IE.

If IE is the only browser you have, then you'll have to use it. https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-stub&os=win&lang=en-US is a safe link.

I agree! Hackers suck!! The damage they do is unbelievable. But they give a lot of people good paying jobs.

There's a browser named Pale Moon which has the same look-and-feel as Firefox, but loads faster, runs faster, and doesn't have the annoying memory lead that firefox hasn't fixed in 2 freaking years.

Take care of yourself. There's a great future out there. It won't come to you; you have to go to it.

In this day and age when people want to go paperless, they NEED to remember THIS. I may be dating myself BUT THIS why we had PAPER. Paper gets stored. Paper NEVER gets hacked. It may get lost but that is what COPIES are for. This paperless system is BULLSHIT because it makes it SO MUCH easier for important and confidential stuff to be stolen.

Good job, technology. Save those trees.
