Please no spoilers!

I just power watched Season 1 of The Americans on Amazon Prime. Holy canoli.

1. I find media fascinating in the way that the protagonist can be written to draw you in to a perspective you would never otherwise take; i.e. I was torn between rooting for the protagonists versus my own countrymen the whole show, just because of the way it was written

2. SO INTENSE!!

Anyone else watched this? Season 2 isn't on Prime streaming and I'm debating purchasing versus waiting until (I don't know when) it's added to Prime.

I watched theough season 2. I thought it was really good through season 1 but something about season 2 didn't really make me want more.

Really?

I guess that's a vote for not paying to watch the second season then. Bummer. I guess I should Google what season it's currently on.

I loved season 1. Also waiting on season 2. Have you already watched all of Downtown Abbey? That's another good one on Prime.

Yes!! I'm caught up on Downton - watched that right after I moved, and managed to get through it all just in time to watch the latest season on PBS's website.

I'm thinking about starting Torchwood, since that's on Prime. I'm a little nervous about it...I've heard pretty mixed reviews from Doctor Who fans.

I'm with Rebreather's H. I watch on demand, during the daylight hours.

I missed most of the 1st year, but the 2nd continues to be intense. Not realistic as a document, but it captures the flavor, I think, of international relations in the '70s and '80s, at least as I remember it.

Season 2 is on FX at 9 PM CDT on Wednesdays. Can you stream it live?
