I just spotted this! I had realised a few weeks ago that I was getting close to 5,000 and made a mental note to mark my own 5,000 post (not necessarily by posting to same), but when the 5,000 point came I didn't even notice I was too busy posting and it past me completely by.
I am really astonished - and touched - that someone noticed (aww, thanks MOO - doesn't come near your fantastic 50,000) seeing as I am so infrequently here and am very hmmmm … understated, anonymous and I fear perhaps a little too 'worthy' (earnest)! But I am very glad if I have been of service and thank everybody for their splendid company over the years.
Shucks, how lovely
Maybe a long walk in the Hindu Kush would do it?
