I almost titled this Orange Is The New Freaking Black but didn't want it to get confused with Nik's thread about Orphan Black.

Anyone excited about the new season being released next month?

We had to binge watch Season One again to remember what happened. I'd forgotten a lot of it. They are bringing in a lot of new characters and some may not be returning. I'll miss Miss Claudette if she's not in Season Two.

Growing forward

OMG I have been wanting season 2 since the end of season 1!!! Even though I could do without Jason Biggs' character....he irritated me. Glad to see Laura Prepon is back though and Uzo Aduba (crazyeyes) is too!

We are about half way through season one, and I gotta say it's a really good show.

So we have been watching an episode here and there when we have time, hopefully will end season one just as season two rolls out.

We just finished season one not too long ago. We can't wait till season 2 gets here. One more month!!

As with the first season, all 13 episodes will be available on the streaming service at once.

I didn't know this! I thought a new episode appeared every week. It looks like we've got some late nights coming up next month!

Ok, we'll try to not put spoilers out there of Season 2 until you are finished Season 1.

It's all about dysfunction with a crazy cast of characters -- yeah Rebreather you will love it.

Can't wait. I need to do a binge re-watch of the first season... Only I'm now binge-watching Justified and am not sure I can withstand the withdrawal if I switch gears.

I lead such an exciting life

This is one of the reasons the UK sucks. We have to wait longer for new series of the good shows.

I would move to the US just to see Orange is the new black, Son's of Anarchy and Homeland sooner!

SO and I watched the first 2 shows of season 2 today. He'll probably want to watch another episode when he gets home from work!

Got through them all. When you only have 4 left to go, how can you shut it down and stop watching, gotta keep going right?

I want to throw some stuff out there without spoilers. I thought this season started off slow. It didn't grab me as much as last season did, but it finished solid. I liked it. I thought the last few episodes felt more like season 1.

It seemed like more focus on back stories this season (?) or maybe just the added focus on the back story of one particular new character that seemed to dominate. I really liked Morello's back story. Not what I was expecting. I got invested in Rosa too (the cancer patient). Nicky is interesting. I could do without Polly, Larry, Piper (although she has her moments), and to a lesser extent Alex. In one way or another I find them the most whining/annoying/shallow time suckers.

Hope everyone is enjoying it. Happy Bingeing!
