Left work for the last time about an hour ago. I hate my job but I adore the people. It was a fun day but very sad. I have some contract work this weekend so technically I'm not jobless until Sunday. I've got about a year in the bank so I'll be fine.

Leaving town for good after Memorial Day. I have a family wedding and a couple other loose ends to tie up. It's kind of scary. I've never taken a leap like this. It's exciting too. I can't wait to see what's out there.

Divorced 7/11/14. New Beginning on the Gulf of Mexico. It's real nice.

What are you going to do with your free time?

Good luck with your move

I inadvertently did this last year. I moved 1500 miles for a job that fell through when I got here. It took me a couple of months to find another job, but I did a lot of fun, inexpensive things in between.

Enjoy your adventure!

Changes like that can be hard, even if we really were unhappy there. You were smart about it, though, and saved ahead. Hope the new place and new job are good ones.

Sounds like you are prepared financially and now have an opportunity to do what you want to do - that is awesome.
