I've been feeling really sad and down the last two days. I'm struggling with the rollercoaster of emotions and inappropriate moments that my spontaneous tears appear.

Short version of story: WH decided we should "just be friends" but financially we cannot live separately for a while. So I have to contend with seeing him daily (when he does come home). I've been really strong up until now but now I'm feeling awful.

Just need to vent, thank you!

(((Shocked2believe))) I am sorry, that is awful.

Am I reading this right? He gets to live at home and see his girlfriend at the same time?

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know you said you can't live separately due to finances, but is there anyone you can stay with and offer them some sort of rent to help out?

Sending strength and (((hugs)))

Thank you for the support Breezy150 and simplydevastated.

Simplydevasted : Well I haven't posted for a long time and a lot had gone on since my last posts. Firstly we are awaiting further tests, results and examinations for WH as he's been rather ill for about 2 months now. His self diagnosis from the Internet is the awful "C".

In respect of the (ex?)EAP, as far as I'm aware, (ex?)AP and (ex?)WH don't correspond via technology any longer. They only see one another at work occasionally but unfortunately a couple of work collegues are mutual friends of both (ex?)AP and (ex?)WH and they still go out frequently together. This entails (ex?)WH staying out in a hotel as it's too far to travel especially after drinking.

The problem is that I want(ed) him to find new friends as these people are not "friends of our marriage" but he had decided that he would rather remain their friends and leave our marriage. I suppose he's made it clear! Just struggling today!

I hope the tests come back in his favor.

Unfortunately, the rest of it sounds like he's still in contact. If his friends are "friends of the affair" they will find ways to keep it underground.

This entails (ex?)WH staying out in a hotel as it's too far to travel especially after drinking.

Um...
