The season finale just aired. I give kudos to Samuel L. Jackson for awesome Nick Fury cameo but to the show's credit that was only slice of a whole stack of awesome.

I'm a fan. I haven't seen all the episodes this season so I'll be netflixing what I missed. Great season end and I love that it ties in with the movies. Huge fan of the movies!

I don't know when or even if it will be on Netflix but I do know they keep the 5 most recent episodes on Hulu+.

I watched the finale with my son. He's the fan. I enjoy it, if I happen to be in the room when it's on. But I'm not into it enough to know what's going on. DS19 had to explain why it was such a big deal for Samuel L. Jackson to show up.

Arrgghhh! It was such a good finale! We've been watching all year, and it's one of the few shows we watch the same night it airs.
I don't want to give anything away to those who are waiting to watch the season, so I'll just say, I was hoping through these last few episodes that there was an explanation or secret reason behind certain actions by a person. Oh well.
Seriously though, awesome finale!

YEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a huge fan of Joss Whedon. I loved the Buffy series. I love the snarkiness that was written into the episode.
I'm looking forward to the next season. They opened up so many new story lines that it's going to be a wild ride.
And the way Nick Fury left makes me wonder what the "Marvel/Avengers" machine has up it's sleeve...................
Now if Thor would show up next season.....

Yes, please!!!!
No one changes unless they want to. Not if you beg them. Not if you shame them. Not if you use reason, emotion, or tough love. There is only one thing that makes someone change: their own realization that they need to.

I love this show but the channel keeps going black on my satellite during an episode!!! It's driving me and my kids nuts. We will have to rematch the season finale on Hulu.

I am going to sound so hipster here.
I was a Joss Whedon fan before he became "king of the nerds" after doing The Avengers.
So many people I knew were complaining about this "Whedon guy" and how could he direct a big Marvel movie like the Avengers. I kept telling him he would get it right. Ensemble casts are his forte and he has done some writing for Marvel comics.
Then the movie happened and it was awesome. Then they announced the show and I got really excited.
The season took a bit to get going, but that is how Whedon stuff can be sometimes. But man did it ever take off.
And that finale was PERFECT. Coulson was superb and Fury's cameo was spot on. So much fantastic writing in this episode.
And it leaves us with enough unknowns to have us waiting, with baited breath, for the next season. Can hardly wait for the fall!

That was good, we LOL'd. Mine was, "I found it!" or whatever Coulson says in that final scene with Garrett.
For prime time network TV, though, it is too gory IMO.

"About that, sir. We need to have a lengthy discussion. It might get loud."
"And I owe you that, but right now we need to give Garrett a punch in the teeth."
Then later, his "loud" is basically "it was stupid, stupid, STUPID! And another thing..."

"Yes, but that emergency was supposed to be the fall of an Avenger."
"Exactly."
And Coulson's shocked expression because Fury just told him he is an Avenger.

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.

I'm a definite fan. I don't think I have watched the finale yet. I'm really hope it explains the reasoning why certain people took the path they did.
I like how the show goes well with the actual marvel comics.

I finally watched the finale
I can't wait until next season. I have questions that I want them to answer.
Spoiler alert: if you haven't seen the finale stop reading.
I wonder who Skye's parents are. I thought they were monsters. Or am I getting my shows mixed up?
