A very cute Englishman...

...came in to take a test where I work. He called it "maths" which is the Brit term for "math".

We had an animated conversation about Barcelona and our respective families. His tribe originated in Ireland but he is a solid Londoner. As some of you know, London is one of my favourite cities in the whole wide world.

He had the most open kind of face I've ever seen in a man, beautiful smile and very gregarious. He seemed genuinely interested in what I'm about.

And I reckon years younger than me (have to look up his info in the database again...).

He comes back to pick up his results today and I'm trying to decide whether or not to ask if he's single.

Help me out guys... I'm a sucker for an Englishman and this one gave FF butterflies.

Go for it! Good luck!

There is a long weekend coming up, so I supposed I could ask the "any plans for the big holiday" question, especially since it's the Queen's birthday.

Maybe it is time to check out the dating world?

Found out he loves working with seniors (how cool), volunteers whenever he can, loves his mum back in England, can't decide between healthcare or trades as a career, but trades are winning because he hates working nights.

He talks a LOT, which would annoy me anyway LOL.

The "we" word came up in our conversation while I was mining him for information, so I'm guessing he's taken.

He wouldn't tell me anything about his weekend other than he's spending Saturday taking a workshop of some kind.

Interesting guy, but very talky.

Or 'we' could mean he and his mum. Uh oh!

Nope, she's back home in England. I got that much out of him.

hexed posted 5/15/2014 21:24 PM

well he was too chatty anyway

FaithFool posted 5/15/2014 21:28 PM

Plus the whole time he was talking I kept picturing him as a character in Wallace and Grommit.

Blimey, not so cute. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. i'll tell you what I tell myself, show them, and if they still don't get it, forget them. It will be like pearls before swine. Do you really want to have to show them each time. It gets to be hard work. they aren't worth it.

Faith Fool Flirts!
This is encouraging news that made me smile even if this one is not datable.

abbycadabby posted 5/16/2014 10:26 AM
