Today has been tough, my DS had soccer tryouts that I couldn't attend so WH went alone. No updates, I called, but no answer means he's on the phone with OW. Really? She gets play by play updates and I finally get a text back an hour in.

Then our daughter comes home from friend day with huge side pain, I gave her some TLC ibuprofen and left to my parents, my night away. She was so bad, WH freaking it might be appendix so we decided he take her to urgent care. I found one open, and waited and waited, no updates. I finally texted DD to find out what is going on, and texted WH to tell him I need simple updates, been worried. Of course he was texting OW while waiting. Yes, nothing to report while waiting for room, but I didn't know. So we had a text fight, so mad, got it all off my chest. No I don't feel better, I know it makes us worse off, but I couldn't keep it in.

I know it will take time to get used to not being with kids when important things or emergencies happen, but this was the first. I can't stand his talking and texting OW when with kids. Do you get that feeling, that OP knows more about your kids than you do sometimes?

(((((Acer))))) Not knowing what's going on with your DD must be torture. I hope you hear soon that she is ok.

I am so sorry you are in this situation! Your dday is so recent so these types of situations are going to be new to you. Do you guys have an agreement of some sort specifying what happens during emergencies and such? If not, this can serve as an example of why it is important.

I'm sorry I can't offer more help as my situation is different. It did remind me of the time I found out stbx's girlfriend was telling people how she was dating a single dad with two special needs children. The term "single dad" implies that you are involved in your children's life which was not our case. Anyways, I remember the anger I felt. It is not the same as what you are going through but I'm guessing it's what I felt times a BILLION!

I hope you hear from DD soon and I pray that she is ok.

Quick update, DD is ok, finally got update from WH. I will talk with him later this week about expectations when with kids again, I was naive to think it would be like always, I guess with a third person in our life, I'm not the first to hear anymore.
