I love Modern family. However, does anyone else get aggravated by Phil? I just find it disgusting how the show portrays Phil's disrespect to Claire when it comes to Gloria. It is just absolutely disgusting how far they take his attraction to Gloria at the expense of his wife and usually right in front of her.

Yep.

I stopped watching a long time ago because Phil is an asshole. It's all about him and how he looks - reminds me of XH.

They had an episode recently where he was remembering losing his virginity to a high school (?) girlfriend and then he felt horridly guilty for cheating on Claire with a memory. It was actually a really sweet way to portray him. And a lovely contrast to his attraction to Gloria.
