One of my facebook friends is selling this. I know it's a MLM thing so I'm kind of leery of it just because I don't want to get the "become a distributor!" pitch, but it seems like I've heard that it actually does work for weight loss - anyone used this?

I'm actually looking into this right now, I'll let you know what I think. I'm going to be having gastric bypass so I'll need protein supplements.

My DD got talked into this stuff. Her and the X tried it. No weight was lost. Basically she liked the energy drinks better than what you can get at the store and the rest was a total waste of money from what I could see.

As a wellness/health coach role in my job I absolutely HATE these programs.

You want a quick easy weight loss? Do Atkins or an Atkins style weight loss program. At least then you are getting clean protein.

You want to loose weight and keep it off the rest of your life? Then you have to make real changes that are sustainable. Eating and drinking premade bars, and shakes aint gonna get it done. The human body craves textures, and flavors, and crunch, and squish, and everything inbetween. You deny it too long, then you just go right back to the bad habits.

Your body has it's own wonderful way of cleansing itself. Quit eating crap, and start eating lots of fresh veggies, and limit your fruits initially, when you start losing slowly increase complex carbs, and fruits. Quit eating anything with "High Fructose Corn Syrup" in it.

Save your money, and go to the local produce market, and local butcher shop, and stock up on stuff that is sustainable, and healthy. Not this junk.

Save your $. I actually was talked into doing this. You take handfuls of supplements/day - and you don't really know what those supplements are.

You are better off eating healthier and exercising. It's cheaper and healthier that way.

Oh and it's a pyramid marketing scheme so they will be after you to attend *meetings* to *explain* the 24 day challenge - it's a huge sales pitch to get you to hawk their products.

Not a fan.

Thank you guys! I usually don't pay any attention to these pitches, but the girl selling it said she lost 20 pounds on the 24-day challenge and I went temporarily insane there for a bit . . . I definitely do NOT want the MLM pitch, I am so over that shit.

My girlfriend was on it and lost 30 lbs pretty quick. She spent A LOT of $$$ on it. As soon as she came off of it, she started gaining weight.

Yep - look at www.whole30.com

I just finished my first whole30 and lost 13 lbs and 2 dress sizes - just from eating clean.
