This is the last book I read before I obtained the smoking gun of my wife's affair. This book is an amazing story for anyone who has not read it. For those who have read it, there are some parallels to Louis' story and the journey we are currently on as it is a test of our fortitude. Mr. Zamperini's fortitude is/was hero like and beyond anything I could ever imagine. I draw strength from his courageous story. If I continue to do good things and hold my head high the storm clouds will go away and I will see blue skies once again.
Also, it's the real D-Day today so thank you for all those troops and vets who helped protect us and our ideals making the USA a great place.

I have read this book as well. I was in awe of the education I received in the process!

Amazing book. It's on my re-read list.
Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
