As details about xPervert surface and time goes on, people are making fun of him right and left.

One of the recent jabs stayed in my head longer than others from one of my main local supporters. Ironically, a happily married one. Go figure. She's a relative and one of the first people I ever introduced him to.

She decided that Perv thinks women are like cars... he can just trade in for "new" models.

Except that like the debt accrued in car buying, so too can things go wrong when you "opt out" of a legally bound relationship.

A coworker said recently, he's kind of like Erkel: "Did I do that?"

(The man still acts surprised he has a mess to clean up.)

I hope this doesn't offend anyone, because as my humor is returning, I thought this apt of him and pretty funny.

That's great when you get to that point, Ashland. I have been able to do that almost from the beginning with two of my friends who are a clinical psychologist and a RN with much extra education in psychology. Both encouraged me to find the up-side since they understood how abusive he had been for all those years, and they were right about how much it helps!

I even, very carefully, made a joke with my DS, unsure of how he would take it. He has a very similar sense of humor to me, so I took a chance. He laughed and agreed. Whew!! Realized I had held my breath since saying it and could now let it out and join him in a laugh. Felt good!

Finding what life could have been....... Why didn't I see it?
