I had surgery on my dominant hand on April 1; for 6 weeks my hand was unusable for anything like normal activities. I've been doing OT, and my hand is coming along extremely well, much better than 'normal'.

My heart goes out to all those folks who have to live with a disabled hand.

I am very grateful.

I'm so glad it's feeling better. That was no fun at all. (((sisoon)))

I'm glad you're healing well!

Lots to be grateful for!

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

I am so glad for you too.

Years ago FT got in a DUI car accident and ended up loosing his non-dominant hand below the elbow due to amputation.

Watching that entire process was upsetting for all.

I don't think I would wish that on anyone, even on an FT.
