Last time NPDSTBX had DD for his weekend, he said she needed a haircut.
I sent him an email (I don't discuss things verbally, NC NC NC) saying she didn't need a haircut. Mostly to make sure there was a record because I knew this would happen.
So this weekend, he cut it. He cut her hair.
She is 2. It was her first hair cut. I was 100% expecting it, but it still is wrenching my heart.
I hate him. I hate him. I hate him.
How do I do anything with him around?
FTG. I hate him.

That would piss me off too. I'm sure he never considered before/after photos or keeping a lock of hair. Do you have anything written in your parenting agreement about this? I know some do, but mine doesn't.
My DS needs his first haircut soon and I keep thinking I should do it before the Gnat does. I hate to cut off his baby curls though.

OMG. I would go apeshit on that asshole.
I am 46 years old, and my mother STILL has my lock of hair from my first cut.

We are still on temp orders. He would ignore it anyway. He hasn't complied by the court order once and implied in a text that he doesn't intend to.
I did thoroughly address the haicut issue in an email. He just ignored it. I hope it at least gets me towards sole legal custody.

Foggy, I logged on half an hour ago and read your post and triggered so bad I had to walk away and have some coffee before I came back on to answer.
My ex did this to my daughter. Actually, the OW did. My daughters long platinum curls cut off above her ears. When she stepped out of the car after the weekend and I saw her I had the most visceral reaction. I truly felt like I had been punched in the gut. At six years old she had never had more than just the very ends of her hair trimmed. It was one of her most beautiful features and brought comments from strangers just about every day and everywhere we went. Anyone knows that once you cut off that "baby hair", the hair is never the same. After that the curls were gone and her hair was so much darker. He took away that feature from her much earlier than it should have been and he took away that special time between mothers and daughters. He allowed her to have that time with the home wrecking whore. Can you tell nearly 10 years later that I am still furious?
Of course, the poopsmear sloughed off my angry confrontation quoting that she was his daughter as well and he could give permission for the haircut just like I could. Nothing in our papers prevented that. However, it did stump him a little when I pointed out that I never would have made such a change to one of our children's physical appearance without consulting with him first.
I say we find that queef-breath, hold him down and shave him a reverse mohawk and Nair off just one of his eyebrows. Let him agonize about whether or not he wants to stay like that or break down and shave off the other one and let them grow back together. I truly hate him for you. I am so sorry.
