My daughter and her husband are expecting their first child...her due date is Christmas Day!!

I have known for a while but she didn't want it "announced" until after her ultrasound to make sure everything was OK and confirm her due date.

They did tell close family, but swore us to secrecy....(meaning NO Facebook)

I got to go with her for the ultrasound as my son-in-law had to work...she started to cry when she saw the baby on the screen, which made me cry, and then the US tech started crying.....all of us a blubbery mess...lol

All looks good...they do want to find out the sex, but must wait until the next US to do that....

I'm so excited....I do have one grandson who is the son of my foster son (who stayed as a son!!)...he is 3 1/2 yrs old...but I don't get a lot of time with him (which breaks my heart)..but I make the best of the time I do get....

But just try and keep my hands off this baby...lol....omg...my baby is having a baby.....I'm stoked!!!!!

Yes I was walking through Walmart today when I stopped to get a few groceries and found myself "looking" at baby things....maybe once we know the sex I will start to buy things....

my 25 year old daughter who has been married for 3 years just told me that they're waiting another couple years. This i

s ok.

My daughter and son in law will have been married 3 years this September. They wanted to travel a bit, and buy their house before starting a family. She is 26, her hubby 28 tommorrow...so they are young and healthy. I'm glad they enjoyed their married life for a while before starting a family. They have been together since she was 17 yrs old and are ready for this next big step.

I am so very happy for them and can't wait!!!!

YAY! It's just the most fun in the world! It really is true what everyone says about grandchildren. I think you really do enjoy them more than you did your own children, because you can send them home when you are tired! I never thought it was possible to love any others more than I loved my own children, but I think I love my grands even more! Does that make me bad? LOL!

We had to wait many years for our grands because my daughter and her H are both Cystic Fibrosis carriers, so it took some doing to get 2 healthy babies.

That reminds me, now I need to go post some pics of my new grand-daughter!

How is your DD fe

eling?

She has had a lot of "morning sickness" but it hit her in the afternoon.....she belongs to an online group of women that are pregnant, had their babies etc...so she asked about the medication for morning sickness....the answer came back a resounding "Don't be a hero ask the Dr for it!!"....so she did and it has really made a difference for her....

Otherwise she is still working full time, and going about her normal activities....
