I'm a little worried she hasn't come around since her date with the missed connection.

Hope everything is ok.

Oops sorry! I've just been remiss.

Date was fine, I have not disappeared into someone's basement.

Happy Friday y'all!

So, are you going to fill us in on your date??

Ha it was typical of my best first dates in that he's totally inappropriate as a relationship candidate! He is younger than I realized, a very new 26, and he reminds me a lot of myself at that age, I.e. way more comfortable with creating physical intimacy than able to pursue emotional intimacy. But it was an interesting conversation and we obviously get along well. I wish I could meet him when he's 30! We're going out again on Tuesday and are supposed to get my tarot read (I've always wanted to do that). I'm trying to let myself give him a chance to step up to the plate of maturity without actu expecting him to be able to.

Also he intently kissed each of my knuckles a bunch very tenderly. So, that's a new one. I will admit to a perverse pleasure at feeling I had gotten him intrigued--it is always nice to be called 'voracious' by someone who has just met you and to think, that's right, I AM voracious!

But probably I didn't post an update because it was the type of date that implies I haven't yet learned how to date like a grown-up! None of the guys I end up clicking with quite seem to telegraph 'stable and commitment-ready'.

wanting or devouring great quantities of food.
"he had a voracious appetite"
synonyms: insatiable, unquenchable, unappeasable, prodigious, uncontrollable, compulsive, gluttonous, greedy, rapacious; More
having a very eager approach to an activity.
"his voracious reading of literature"

did he perhaps mean vivacious?

(especially of a woman) attractively lively and animated.
synonyms: lively, spirited, bubbly, ebullient, buoyant, sparkling, lighthearted, jaunty, merry, happy, jolly, full of fun, cheery, cheerful, perky, sunny, breezy, enthusiastic, irrepressible, vibrant, vital, zestful, energetic, effervescent, dynamic; More

That sounds more complimentary
