that if we just learned how to give the most awesome hand jobs our WH's wouldn't commit adultery?

Yep, that is the e-email I got this morning from some marriage help site.

The site is promoting some dude's book. He contends that

90% of Men Who Have Affairs & Cheat Say They Were Not Truly Satisfied in Bed
and if we just learn how to give the best hand job ever, problem solved, no more adultery.

Okay.

There's this comedian that ex listens to named Patrice Oneal who believed (he passed a few years ago) that men are not meant to be monogamous because its not in their nature but women (even women who cheat) truly want to only be with one man. We've had fights about this guy.

SisterMilkshake posted 6/14/2014 10:26 AM

I really did enjoy Patrice Oneal. Very funny man, but I agree, when he would do a set on his theory of men not being monogamous, I would have to turn him off.

I could believe that the cheaters actually SAY that but, as we all know, cheaters lie.

Anyone want to take odds on whether the author is a poor sexually unsatisfied soul who had to cheat?

I heard a commercial on the radio yesterday for a local pricey steakhouse saying to have an affair, have a fling, fall hard for their restsurant. It was sleazy

unfound posted 6/14/2014 10:51 AM

well color me embarrassed... all that time and money wasted on IC when the real answer was SO. FREAKING. OBVIOUS.

*unfound goes and does some wrist strengthening exercises...

Ah yes, The Golden Handjob. As elusive as Sasquatch and the Loch Ness Monster.

theroadahead posted 6/14/2014 11:40 AM

Gee, is that all it takes? Glad I'm in on the secret now.

Well, that explains the high level of marital satisfaction, and longevity of marriages among hookers, doesn't it!

mchercheur posted 6/14/2014 12:47 PM

If only I had known!

I just went and looked at a bunch of pictures of elderly couples that have been married 50+ years who are still very happy together.

I didn't notice any extraordinary biceps on the women

They're all born with two hands, if all they want is a good tug why don't they stay single? And when they want a change of pace, just use the left...

solus sto posted 6/14/2014 17:14 PM

Hand jobs? That explains so much. I thought it was blowjobs. If only I'd known.

shatteredheart12 posted 6/14/2014 17:30 PM

So glad to find out "that" is why men stray, I better start practicing

FoggedIn posted 6/14/2014 18:34 PM

OMG Pjk...

I cried laughing so hard!

simplydevastated posted 6/14/2014 20:46 PM

This poses an interesting question. If women need to get better at hand jobs to keep our husbands from straying, what do the men have to do to keep their wives from straying? Hmmmmmm.....

mike7 posted 6/14/2014 20:58 PM

it's amazing the tripe that gets published. there's a female author, who had an affair and got divorced, and then wrote a book about "why women have affairs." Very little of it addresses the fact that unhappy women can do other things besides have affairs. These people don't understand that cheating is a problem that comes from within.

it's like writing a book about how to place products on a shelf so shoplifters won't shoplift. And then not mentioning anything that identifies that the problem is the shoplifter, not the product.

Gotmegood posted 6/15/2014 00:28 AM

And you know what really pisses me off about absurd theories like that? It just perpetuates the blame the victim mentality that pervades popular thinking.....seriously pisses me off

mike7 posted 6/15/2014 00:36 AM

yep, if she had just had more sex with me, i wouldn't have cheated. all the blame is on the victim. no responsibility to the cheater?
