At the jazz festival outdoor stage this weekend, we've gone all Euro up here with new booze laws allowing kids in the beer garden.

Time will tell if that's a Good Thing or not I guess.

Anyway, fun watching the three-year-olds dancing and running about like insane drunk people and meeting up for the first time.

Cute blonde in an adorable sun dress with a flower in her hair meets a cherubic blonde boy with cokebottle glasses like the kid in Lord of the Flies.

They face off, she steps back a pace, not sure, he circles cautiously with a big grin on his face, then tries to go in for the hug.

She steps back another pace, puts a hand up her dress and starts sucking her thumb, which stops him dead in his tracks.

I'm thinking that might make a good strategy for a first date.
