When I think back to how I was thinking and behaving 6 months ago I'm ashamed and disgusted. I feel as if I'm getting back to the real me day by day. It's a good feeling but the journey is difficult. Last night I had a discussion with hubby about the changes we are going through. It's clear we care about one another to keep moving forward.

That's great! Keep up the work. It's hard but it can be done.

“Empathy has no script. There is no right way or wrong way to do it. It’s simply listening, holding space, withholding judgment, emotionally connecting, and communicating that incredibly healing message of “you’re not alone.” ~ Brene Brown
