I could have titled this is it him or is it me?

A man sends me a msg on OLD. A bit over the top complimentary, but ok. It seems all chats have sexual innuendo. But then I think maybe I am the one with the dirty mind .

Here is the one that stands out to me. He says "Hi! Was thinking about U if u don't mind "

Is it me or is that creepy?? I don't think I am a prude, but he doesn't know me, aaakkk, he just sent me another one.

Just gonna let him know I don't think we are a good match.

Not sure what is creepy about "I was thinking about you"

??

Must Survive posted 6/30/2014 11:20 AM

He had commented on looking at a certain pic, and it felt like the conversation was alluding to "ah hem he was doing certain things".

He also goes on to say that if we had already met, I would be laying next to him, cuddling, feeling safe in his arms.

No where in any of my msgs did I say anything to get him to that spot.

I guess for me, on OLD, I want to see if we have any common interest, if you seem normal with msgs, we can meet and take it from there.

I guess I feel as he is acting more familiar than should be after 1 day of maybe 10 msgs.

Thinking about you = not creepy

Alluding to masturbation = creepy

Talking about laying in arms = creepy

LOL. A reason OLD scares the Helsinki out of me.

Who in their right mind would write sh*+ like this and thinks it's complimentary?!

Thinking mail order bride looking like a viable option in distant future.

What I"ve learned on OLD...if you get creeped out *at all*, then it is time to next him.

Your gut is telling you something for a reason.

Also, when the sexual innuendo comes out, they are typically testing you. If you go along with it, then great. They are happy as can be because they think you'll be jumping into bed with them the first time you meet. If you balk at the sexual innuendo, then they pull the "oh, I was just kidding. I didn't mean it the way you took it" bullshit and then they poof on you.

And he did what was expected. I nicely said I didn't think we would be a good match and good luck on the site.

Angry response that I was typical, joke around and run.

Dodged another one.

Dodged another one.

Big time. Not only is it creepy I think it is really bad manners to pull that shit AND bad manners to pout when someone isn't receptive to your creepiness.

If you haven't met or exchanged more than a few words, and you feel uncomfortable, just block them. You don't owe them anything.
