It is working fine on my tablet. How far from his office does it show him? It isn't always spot on....

It has him near his office, but about 5-6 miles away. I called him at his work number and he answered it, so I know he wasn't there. Also, the two locations it had him at were both woods....He's not done it in a wooded forest, as far as I know

I use Life360 and upon one early occasion as I was heading to work, I saw that my FWH was not at home or heading to work, but was shown near a series of condos about 2 miles from my house. I flipped the truck around, drove back to the coordinates, and found an empty field. I called him, he answered, and from the noise in the background, I could tell that he was driving. Turns out, to work.
Life360 occasionally will be off by a couple of miles. It can be maddening, but unless you're using Google Earth for up to the minute GPS tracking, most apps will have a margin of error. Try hitting the update button to get it to ping the phone again. If that doesn't work, then hit the request or emergency button and demand a check in by him.
Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.

I use greenalp.com as I found 360 not that reliable.
Although greenalp is pretty accurate (usually within 50 metres), I sometimes find it turned off on WH's phone - he tells me he doesn't switch it off it turns off itself. If I find it off I text him and he will send a pxt - this has the time, date and gps location.

Have him turn off wi-fi on his phone. Life 360 often drops out when you're in a public place such as Starbucks that offers wi-fi but you're not signed into it. Once we figured that out it has been reliable.

Yes. 360 not always reliable. Useful? Very. But not worth betting the marriage on.
