and that sucks!
Almost 7 years out, things are calm, peace, happy.
I was out walking the dog and called my BH on his cell, I knew he was leaving work early and I hadn't heard from him so I didn't want him to call the house and I didn't answer.
Got his vm and left him a breezy message, "I'm out with the dog, haven't heard from you, if you call the house I won't answer but call the cell and I will...love you".
Got back in about 15 minutes later and notice that my phone has two missed calls and a vm from him. "You said you'd answer and you didn't. I tried twice. Call me please."
Seriously? g-damn cell service! I called him immediately, he was fine, we commented on how much it sucks when cell phones do that but of course I feel terrible because it even happened.
Just smh over things sometimes.
DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

I have a couple stories like that. Luckily, BW understands, and the rest of my actions confirm my story. Still, every time something like that happens, BAM, trigger.

I'm sorry. That happens to me, too.
Years ago, I accidently without knowing it blocked my sister.

I find the worst is the fact you try so hard to diligent and something as stupid as the mute button on. On our IPhone the button slips so easy. He doesn't too all the time.
And when it happens sometimes the trigger for him is so unneeded.
your right a cell phone can be an evil thing sometimes it can help I love the Skype option.
If he is questioning or I can tell he's wondering. I can SKype :-)

Thanks for the hugs. It helps just to get it out sometimes.

I hate when that happens, and it does from time to time to us as well. the nice thing is that when it does, he, without a moments pause, hands me the phone and says "see?"
. I, on the other hand automatically start cussing tmobile
when things like this happen, you guys work through it... even when it's a little thing like a common hatred of cell phone companies

Happens to us too. Quite often actually. Either he's out of a service area or I cont get to it because my hands are full of groceries and/or children. Even sitting in our house our phones only ring about 50% of the time. Definitely sucks. For both of us.

You just reminded me...it happens both ways. The other day LD texted me. Later that day when we were both sitting home he asked, "Hey, why didn't you answer my text earlier?" I said, "I never got a text!" and he said, "I texted you," I said, "I never got a text!"
He looks at his phone and he says, "Oops, it never sent!"
Uh huh.
Have to admit, I was glad it was his mistake
