What if all of it is based upon our perception - maybe grumpy is someone's normal?
I have a lot on my plate somedays I wish for simpler days and less grumpy people
I spoke to my brother yesterday and he said the same thing, and that she's been more grumpy than usual lately.
I hope you get your wish of simpler days and less grumpy people!
ETA Grumpy is my mother's normal, that's for sure!

Like AN, my mom is grumpy too. Nothing is ever good, fun, enough, exciting...it's just sad.

I try not to take slights as personally as I used to Someone might just be a grumpy person, or having a bad day.

I love to laugh, I love to be happy. I just find myself figuring that if I'm assuming the worst, I won't ever be disappointed or blindsided (well, that certainly didn't work out very well ). It's a terrible way to approach life...
Seriously though, there are multiple facets to our personalities. When I'm at work or school, or talking about something serious, I'm "all business", and probably come off as total grump. When I'm down to have fun, I'm pretty much a singing, dancing goof. I've been told I have two personalities.
Madhatters. More Ddays than birthdays, at this point.
