You know how we always talk about "The Script" that cheaters follow? Well somebody published it. While perusing my local library, I came upon "The Script: the 100% Absolutely Predictable Things Men Do When They Cheat" by Elizabeth Landers and Vicky Mainzer.

It has chapters titles that I have seen here over and over again:

"I Would Never Do That"

"You Need to See a Psychiatrist"

"She Doesn't Understand Me"

"I Found My Soul Mate"

Dropping the Bomb

There's Always Someone Else, Always

"You'll Be Better Off Without Me"

"I'm Going to Take Care of You"

"I'm Not Sleeping with Her" or "We're Not Having Sex"

"It's Your Responsibility to Keep Things Civil and Nice"

"If You'd Just Shut Up, Everything Would Be Okay"

I apologize if this is old news here at SI, but I just had to share. I'm at the point in my healing now that I find this book funny as hell, and dead on accurate.

I ordered this off eBay several months ago. It's accurate. It just really amazes me.

Sounds sexist to me.

Is there a "The Script: The 100% Absolutely Predictable Things Women Do When They Cheat"?

Because previous notes about "The Cheater's Handbook" all contained the lines and the lies my XWW told me, and told others.

Take care of yourself. There's a great future out there. It won't come to you; you have to go to it.

I had a professor in college who would automatically give an "F" on a paper if gender pronouns were used to refer to anything other than a specific person. It's just as easy to have the same effect while writing in a gender neutral fashion. Too bad a person can be published without such skills.
