My XH and I split up in 2010 and haven't really spoken since. He hasn't tried to contact our boys since we split which I am grateful for. I finally decided to store my pictures from myspace onto another device and found quite a few of XH, most with the kids a few without. Question is, do I make the attempt to get them to him (I'm on speaking terms with his sister so I wouldn't actually have to contact him) or do I just delete them and say screw it?
What did you do with old pics you found of the X?
TIA

I didn't really do anything. I'm 'old' so most our relationship was pre-digital camera days; I have BOXES of photos. I didn't have it in me to get rid of anything because I felt like our kids might want them later in life?
If yours are on PC or whatever, put 'em on a stick so the kids can have their memories later? By the time the kids want them, we won't be so mad and we'll be glad we did that for them, you know?

I saved the photos from my 1st marriage for our children. I gave them to them when they were older. Both children loved getting them.

I turfed the fuckers. I chose to make the assumption that she had pictures that included her in them, in case our kids want them some day. I'm not taking on the duties of archivist for all the shit I don't want to see.

XH and I didn't have any kids together. I kept one wedding photo- of me with my maid of honor. I kept some vacation snapshots that didn't have XH in them. All the rest of the (pre-digital) photos I left with my XH. I didn't want them. And I have been D for 9 years and I don't regret it. I honestly don't want to remember that part of my life.
12/18/15 found out my now EX boyfriend was trolling CL for underage girls. From the cops. The fun never stops.

Work in progress here.
A full set of digital photos has been set aside for each of our kids. A set of those photos (minus ones of me and my side of the family - he doesn't get those) were transferred to him, and I kept a set of them for me, minus any with him in it. Some family photos were creatively cropped to remove him as well.
The printed pictures are an ongoing project, however. I've divvied up a lot of them already, but every time I turn around, another photo album appears or another box of photos shows up.
