It's been a crazy week (family in town) as we are getting ready to go to a family reunion this weekend. So today is traveling. Tommorow is the reunion and seeing relatives I have not seen in ages. Sunday is traveling back. Then a few more days of family at my place.

Love family, glad to have them around but looking forward to reclaiming my house and my routine!

Finally, I'm expecting a laid-back weekend. The kids have their swim lessons this morning, and then we're free to do whatever. I told my DD we'd go browsing in her favorite store, and then we'll just see where the day takes us. A good cup of coffee from my favorite coffee place is in order.

Tomorrow, we're probably going to swim at the local pool, and then we're going to my parents' house for dinner. Sunday is also open. While I love having things to do, I'm really looking forward to a whole lot of nothing!

Happy weekend, everyone!

Date tonight (cooking--I hope we can actually figure out if there is chemistry and not just compatibility), then tomorrow going to my first S-Anon meeting and the Bolshoi opera if I can find my ticket!

Sunday is the world cup and a friend's wedding.

Hopefully it will be relaxing! The weather will be good

Have a great one y'all!

Sit. Feast on your life.

DD and I are heading to hometown to see my Dad. Then back here to help a newly divorced friend paint some rooms at her new house before she and the kids move in.

I'm either taking my private jet watch the world cup, or negotiating a just peace in the Middle East, or cleaning the grease out of my Webber.

I've wiped the shit off. It can be wiped off you know.

I'm off today. I got my car fixed, and have a handyman working on a project at my house today.

After that, the weekend is all mine. I may take one of the dogs to get his nails done. I would like to clean, but it's below napping on my priority list.

I'm wrapping up my two week staycation with more of a whole lot of nothing.

Pub lunch with a friend on Sunday.

Maybe go for pizza at the hipster joint one evening because it's been awhile.

Other than that, basking, biking, beer (not all together of course).

Back to work on Tuesday. *sigh*

Finally, a free weekend! I'm thinking of getting my hair cut (by someone other than myself--first time in 2 years! ) and my toenails done. Then maybe visiting a local tearoom--haven't done that since I visited NEH in Seattle two years ago too!

On Sunday I plan to go hiking at the Natural Bridge State Forest in MA. Then I hope to finish the day at a local outdoor concert listening to an Irish folk band.

DDs are out of town for the next 12 days, so I am planning on kicking off a bunch of small projects around the house.

Today, work, then getting my hair done, mani & pedi and GNO with my BFF. That shall involve wine...

Saturday, working around the house, then being formally introduced into the local pilot association in the evening. BBQ with pilots and a new friend from work.

Sunday, I will be a nervous wreck. Attending World Cup viewing along with my German friends and colleagues and hoping our boys will take it all!

I have a dr. appt. this afternoon and then SO and I are getting a couples massage. I told him this could be my Valentine's Day present. He said, "But I don't get you a Valentines Day present." And I replied, "Now you do."

Tomorrow our service organization is hosting a picnic at the local VA hospital. All patients and staff are invited. We do it every year. It's a lot of work, but very worth it.

Nothing much planned for the rest of the weekend, lots of things that COULD be done, but napping is pretty high on my priority list also.

I'm hoping to go to my Brother's house for some baby time at some point but they are tired and I'm respecting their space. :( I'll probably take my dogs over to my Dad's house at some point and let them run around in the desert and I imagine I'll do some swimming and some cooking.

I meant to say..

Sunday, I will be a confident fan, attending World Cup viewing along with my German friends and colleagues and hoping our boys, who have 4 players nominated for the best player of the World Cup and who have the most unique and unpredictable Thomas Mueller and record goal scorer Miro Klose as well as best goalie in the world, Manuel Neuer will take it all!
