Sons dad got married to forehead. It looks like he only did it to try and get out of paying support. I laughed so hard st how dumb that is. Just because you get married doesnt meqn that you wont have fo pay c hild support. Hes most likely trying to get thr amount lowered as to say hes got more of a financial burden now since hes step dad to 4 kids. Lmao. So glad I have nothing to do with him at all. But they want to make sure that hes paying what he should. I looked at it and it might get lowered since he doesn't keep jobs. I make good money and more than him.

Don't the courts also take into consideration the wife's income when they determine child support? I honestly don't know - but if so, and if she works, could he not be actually required to pay you more? And, she probably gets support for her four children?

It depends on the state but yes I believe they take into account her income also.
