That's great! It also brings up the eternal question though - why do cats so often feel the need to sit on new/unfamiliar objects (basically anything placed in a place that it wasn't before)?

One of our cats sleeps on our bed during the day. He finds the part of the comforter that "cuddles" him the best that day, unless... I leave something on the bed. Clothes, papers, towels... it doesn't matter. The other day, I had left my iPad on the bed, and came home to find him sleeping with his rear end right in the middle of it.

Cats are really strange sometimes.

No one changes unless they want to. Not if you beg them. Not if you shame them. Not if you use reason, emotion, or tough love. There is only one thing that makes someone change: their own realization that they need to.

The expression on the boy's face is priceless! I suspect that he was "in" on it ahead of time.

Orange gauged incorrectly in a nanosecond & switched in midjump.

Cats seek out warmth and "scent" new objects.

Hence "new things" become theirs and are familiar.

They are great "cathermeters", too. On a cold day, they curl up tightly to conserve body heat and are all splayed out on a hot day. Tummy exposed.

Great job, TR!
