I am going to a very fancy wedding at the end of August and already have a dress that I am going to wear, It is very simple, cream and I like the way it looks. However I have the worst farmer tan ever. I wear sunblock everyday but my arms and neck are about 50 shades darker than the rest of me. I need to even out my colour or I will look like I am wearing a white t-shirt under my dress. I have heard that self tanners work but have no idea what type to buy. Any self tanning experts out there?

Jergen's!!! Put it on every day until you are happy with the results. It's not a "do it once and hope you don't have orange streaks"--it's a gradual buildup. I am fishbelly white and finally have (for me) a tan. Plus, it's available in grocery stores.
I'm not the winner, I'm the prize.

I use Bath and Body Works. Have always had good luck with it. Have read good stuff about Jergens as well, but not tried.
I recommend you start now, so you give yourself time to get good at it. How much to apply, how much to rub in, etc. Keep in mind most have a bronzer in them that washes off the first time, but you still have the color.
I've put on white jeans, shorts, etc. after I have dried, but the bronzer rubs off onto my clothes. Washes out...but think about that and your cream dress. Especially if you plan to dance up a storm...and sweat.
