I wrote down sayings or mantras or thoughts to counter any negative thoughts or words that may try effect me. I saved it to my phone so I can easily access it when I need to meditate on something worthy. This really helps. So I am going to share mines and I am really interested in knowing what yours are....

good things are coming my way simply because I believe and that is more than enough

I will be excited about today because I expect good things today

I will show appreciation for every good thing that comes to me

I will forgive myself and others, learn from the past, and focus on my present to better my future

I acknowledge my flaws and will improve the flaws I can and want to improve

I dont give a fuck about anybody's negative thoughts/words about me, because it is not my problem

I will apologize for when I am truly in the wrong

I will treat people well and be around people who treat me well

Life is too short to waste thoughts on someone who doesnt treat me well

I value good relationships

I will not waste tears on anyone who is comfortable with treating me horribly

I cant change people, because they have to choose to change themselves, but I can change myself if I so choose

I shall not put expectations on people, but instead I will allow them to show me who they are

A person's actions will always overule their words

so thats mines so far. whats yours?

Thanks for sharing, you have some really good ones & I think this is a great idea! Especially to save on your phone for quick reference! I have some written in my journal & when I have more time I'll try to come back & share some. A couple of my favorites tho are "If you love someone let them go, if they come back they're your's, if they don't they never were". "Let go & Let God". "Be still & know that I am God". "Life is a journey, travel with care"...this one is mine.. 😉

A few that are helping me:

"She's just someone I thought I knew."

"Inaction is a decision."

"I'm putting in the hard work to make my life better."

"Thank you."

... and my favourite for when I hear something about her relationship with Rig Pig:

"Poor fucking bastard!"

Divorced the cheater and living my best life now.

The best thing about hitting rock bottom is that everything after that looks fucking fabulous.

LOL!!! when I think about how deceptive my WH was towards the OW about lying about not being married and was divorced, making excuses on not seeing her while trying to work it out with me, praying secretly that she would miscarry while pretending to want the baby....oh when I think of all the deception and lies to this girl compared to all the deception and lies to me...I actually feel kind of sorry for the OW and happy that its no longer my problem and is now hers and whoever else he gets involved with

The ones that are helping me through:

- Whatever had to happen, happened.

- It's a crisis, and we can get through it.

- I will learn from this, and be a better person thanks to it.

I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination

"Everything is as it should be"

Can't get more Zen than that. Since fully embracing that, it's gotten way easier.

Borrowed from an SI member to deal with obsessing:

"I know and it has hurt me very much but I have felt it and now I am letting it pass."
