Looked in the mirror this morning and saw the reflection of a fucking hamster on a wheel running his ass off through this in house separation bullshit, looking for a way off the damn wheel.
Looked at the reflection of the pathetic soul in bath behind me and saw a broken creature too afraid to look into her own shadow, who'd rather jump from distraction to dstraction and OM to OM rather than facing the shame and fixing the damage within.
Wasn't sure which reflection was more disturbing.

^^^^^^^^^ FAR MORE DISTURBING.
Hamster may be running in circles but it isn't hurting anyone or destroying something of value like say a marriage.
Hang in there H&L. This too shall pass.

Yeah, I'd go with the second one as being the more disturbing.

In house separation is a hell all on it's own. I agree with the others, her reflection is far more disturbing. Things will get better once the in house separation is over. It all just sucks right now, go easy on yourself.

Personally, I think you're doing great to be a hamster during IHS.

He just runs around on his hamster wheel

At least the hamster is making an effort to get somewhere. As soon as that wheel moves, he'll be off and running.

In house definitely deserves it's own special level in hell.
And I agree with the others...you shouldn't be sharing bathroom time anymore. Hell no.
It's in house separation. SEPARATE.
Hang in there. It gets better. Sometimes it takes a long fucking time though.
