Had a Sunday morning toilet flood. It was spectacular. I discovered that my bathroom floor is tilted in the direction of the hallway carpet.

JOY.

Good thing I had a large rag bag and enough quarters for a hot wash/disinfection and dry... but I'll definitely have to call in the carpet cleaners this month.

Came home from my three hour bike outing to discover the freezer door had somehow popped open.

Sheesh.

Fortunately I have no meat or seafood in there, just lemonade and lots of berries, which dripped red on the kitchen floor.

Fortunately I had lots of clean rags... and there was just enough ice left in a baggie for cocktails.

I'm drinking now.

Almost forgot, there was a blueberry smoothie disaster involving a white T shirt as well.

Debbie Downer here - better check or replace the carpet pad. Even if you were able to dry the carpet off, moisture tends to sit in there and I'd hate for you to get mold.

Glad you had enough ice for a drink though!

Cheers!
