Well, DD has come back from 1 of her 2 nights a month with you. And what a momentous weekend it was that you felt the need to email me a play by play.
She had soooooo many firsts in your presence. Firsts you stole from me. Firsts I will NEVER EVER get back.
How will I ever live with myself knowing I can't take DD to a rugby game. I didn't even know where they rugby in America. Was it just a bunch of people in the park playing a pick up game? I will have to be satisfied that I took DD to her first professional baseball game. And her first professional hockey game (alone, and that was while we were married).
And her first frog legs for lunch. Sounds delicious. Did you ask her what a frog says when you gave them to her?
And she made her first cup of milk! Quite an assumption to make. But no, I do not let the toddler into the fridge. Because I am sure you spent some time cleaning up that mess.
And most alarmingly, her first escape from the carseat. She has never managed an escape from mine (which is the same model as your carseat). So my concern is not so much the escapee as the person doing the buckling.
Not that it is a competition. I just have her >90% of the time. So I will end up with >90% of the firsts.
PS: No, you did not single-handedly potty train her in 36 hours.
