So, I have always spent quite a bit of time on my computer, but now doing online school, I feel like I am on it all the time and reading my text books is taking a toll on my eyes.

Do any of you have experience with computer glasses or the f.lux? My own online research has me at a half and half it helps/does not help lol, so I thought I would ask here.

	Thanks for your time,

	Grace

I have worn specs for-ev-er, and wear progressives for most uses.

I used to wear reading glasses (prescription) for close work but lately I find I can read on the IPad or laptop for school work using the progressives, and read books with bare eyes.

After several hours on the above, though, I need to go 'bare eyes' or just rest them for awhile before going back to the screen.

For work, where I sit at more distance from different monitors, I had them make me a custom pair. The prescription is halfway between my last pair of readers and the latest daily prescription pair.

	Works really well.

I can't do store bought readers.

I use f.lux. I really like it and it's definitely easier on the eyes.
