Beautiful! I hope you had a fantastic trip.

Thanks!
I love this place.
There are 17 miles of hiking trails, a yoga studio and artists painting everywhere.
No vehicles, except for a few of the locals, so you have to walk everywhere.
Some of the guest houses don't even have electricity.
It's quite an experience.

Sounds like heaven to me.
I always love going to coastal areas, because I get so much more energy and stamina, considering I live at about 6800ft elevation. All of that hiking and fresh sea air sounds like something I'd really enjoy. Yep. I definitely have to get out there sometime.

I thought that was Maine! The Former and I used to go to Deer Isle every year.
This above all: to thine ownself be true,

Your photos are beautiful!
I'd love to visit Maine--Monhegan and Acadia NP are on my list. The eco-tourism company I worked for ran a birding tour to Monhegan--it's a fall-out spot for the spring and fall migrations.
