We are implementing a Zero Tolerence policy regarding *any* political mention.

This means:

No Names

No Jokes

No Polls

No Debate Questions (whether infidelity related or not)

Zero. Nada. Zilch. No mention of politics or of political candidates at all.

We do not have time to Moderate politics on an Infidelity site. There are thousands of political message boards, we encourage you all to go there if the spirit moves you to want to discuss politics.

Breaking the Zero Tolerence rule = losing your Profile.

I'm not going to post any smart-ass comments for a change. I just wanted to say that you mods do a wonderful job here. Thank you.

Thank you so much.

Let me tell you why I think this is so important.

If you're a BS here, you sought out this board in the first place because while you were following the rules, your WS decided to break them, and left you feeling silenced and powerless.

So when you're here and once again following the rules and someone else breaks them, you once again feel silenced and powerless.

So thanks very very much.

It nagged him, in particular, that none of the girls he’d known so far had given him a sense of unalloyed triumph.

Seems like a good policy to me. But if the penalty is going to be so severe, maybe it should be made very clear in the TOS/sign up process.

It's understandable when someone famous is involved with infidelity to want to comment on it. And since there's no rule against talking about celebrities or any other non-politician, I think it would be very easy for a new member to cross that line. If someone sees a comment trashing Angelina Jolie, Woodie Allen, or Paula Deen, how would they know it's off limits to discuss Ms/Mr. Politician's behavior?

We already have a sticky thread in this forum about religion and political discussions.

We're not making it part of the registration process.

I totally understand, but it is hard to talk on a political board about infidelity. While the whole world seems to be cheating, nowhere but here does it feel safe to talk about it.

Thanks, mods for the great job you do.

Whenever I see these things, I get a ball of fear in the pit of my stomach. I would probably DIE if I ever lost my ability to post here. I feel like I'm going to puke when I get a Mod PM for making a generalization!

Note to self: No political talk, J!

Love ya!

very well put! Also I might add that some of us feel bullied by life and I know from experience how much that hurts to be bullied on SI.
